Ejaz Tanning Co

Our place is at 8 V.V. Koil Street in Periamet. It’s a tight little street, and finding a place to park is always a bit of a nightmare. We’ve been here for years, working in the tanning trade. It’s a messy business, to be honest. Your hands get dirty and the floor is usually stained with something or other. We process skins and hides, and it takes a lot of patience. The equipment we use is old, but it still works if you know how to handle it. We don't have a big fancy office. Just a small room with a desk where we keep the books. Most of the space is taken up by the vats and the drying areas. Periamet is known for this kind of work, so we fit right in with the neighbors. There’s a lot of shouting and heavy lifting throughout the day. We aren't much for talk. We just get the hides ready and move them along. Sometimes the weather makes things difficult—too much rain and nothing dries right. But we’ve learned to deal with that over time. It’s a family-run kind of thing, mostly. We don’t spend money on ads. People know where the tanning street is and they find us eventually. It’s hard work, and we’re tired at the end of the day, but it’s what we know how to do. The neighborhood cats always hang around the gates near the scrap bins.
