Our business, Earthnrain Organic Farmers Producer Company Limited, is located down in Kombai. Specifically, you can find us at 12/1, 1 Soudaman Kovil Street. Since we are a producer company, we spend most of our time talking to farmers from around the area. Theni is a big farming hub, so there is always something happening. We don’t have a polished office with air conditioning and fancy chairs. It’s a practical space where we keep our files and meet with the members. Sometimes the office gets a bit dusty when the wind blows through the street. We don't mind it much. We aren't here to look important. We are just here to do the work that needs to be done for the farmers. Most days involve a lot of tea and long conversations about crops and weather. Tamil Nadu heat can be tough in the middle of the day, so we usually start quite early. We don't have a marketing department or any of that. We just focus on the people we work with every day. It’s a simple way of doing things, but it works for us here in Kombai. We just take it one day at a time.
