At 88 Elaya Mudali Street in Korukkupet, you’ll find Eagle Engineering Enterprises. It’s an older neighborhood and the streets are a bit narrow, so it can be a challenge for the delivery trucks sometimes. We’ve been here for a long time. The building isn't anything special to look at, but it’s sturdy and fits all our engineering equipment. We do a lot of custom work, mostly repairs and small-scale manufacturing. It’s the kind of place where you can hear the clinking of tools and the hum of lathes all day long. We don't have a big corporate structure. It’s just a handful of us who have been doing this for years. We know our regulars by their first names and they know they can just walk in and talk to us. We don’t use a lot of technical jargon or try to impress anyone with big words. We just look at the problem and try to fix it. The office is usually piled high with blueprints and old invoices, but we know where everything is. Lunchtime is when things finally quiet down for a bit, and we usually sit together in the small courtyard. We don't have a mission statement on the wall or anything like that.
