We're up on the fifth floor of Nelson Towers, over on Nelson Manickam Road. It’s a big building with a lot of different offices, so it stays pretty busy in the elevators. We focus on the fashion side of things here, mostly dealing with the dry goods and garment side of the industry. It's not like a runway show or anything. Most of the time, we’re looking at fabric swatches or checking quality reports at our desks. There are boxes of samples piled up in the corner sometimes. It gets a bit crowded when a new shipment comes in for inspection. We’ve been in this wing for a while now. The view from the window isn't much, just the street traffic below, but it lets in some light. Our staff stays pretty busy. We have to make sure the measurements are right and the colors match what was asked for. It's a lot of detail work. Sometimes we stay late when a deadline is coming up. We usually order in some food and just power through it. It's a practical office environment. We aren't really into the corporate vibe. We just want to make sure the clothes we’re handling are up to the right standard. It’s a lot of back and forth with suppliers and manufacturers. We’ve learned that patience is pretty important in this trade. Things rarely go perfectly the first time, so we just fix the issues and move on.
