Dolphin Park Hotel

Dolphin Park Hotel is situated at No 4/18 on Vembuliamman Koil Street. We are right opposite the National Theatre in Virugambakkam. It’s a very local part of Chennai and the street life here is always interesting. Having the theatre right across from us means there are always crowds when a new movie is out. The street can get quite packed with bikes and cars, especially in the evenings. Our building isn't new, but it serves its purpose for people needing a place to stay or visit. We have a few people working here who handle the front desk and the cleaning. It’s a basic setup without any of the fancy extras you see in big chain hotels. We mostly deal with locals and people who are in town for short visits. The temple nearby also brings in a lot of folks on certain days. We spend a lot of time just keeping the place running and talking to the people who stop by. It’s not a glamorous job, but it’s steady. We don't use a lot of fancy words to describe ourselves because we are just a local hotel in a busy neighborhood. The noise from the theatre and the street is just part of being here. We just try to keep things simple and do our work every day. It’s a plain, functional place that fits into the Virugambakkam area well. The front steps usually have people standing around waiting for the shows to start. We stay busy regardless of the time.
