Dhevi Super Leathers

Our place, Dhevi Super Leathers, is located at No. 9 on Landona Road in Kilpauk. It’s a quiet enough street most days. We’ve been working with leather for a long time, and it’s something we really understand. It’s a bit of a messy job, truth be told. There is always that specific smell of tanned hides in the air, but you get used to it after a week. We don’t have a big showroom with bright lights. It’s more of a functional space where we handle the materials and talk to clients. Sometimes people come in with very specific requests for a piece of leather, and we spend time digging through our stock to find the right shade or texture. It’s not a fast process, but we don't like to rush things anyway. We’ve stayed in Kilpauk because it’s where we started and we like the vibe of the neighborhood. The staff here is small, just a few of us who know the trade. We aren't looking to expand into some massive corporation. We just want to do our work well and go home at the end of the day. There are no corporate slogans here. If you come by, you’ll see us working at the back tables. We just take things one day at a time at Landona Road. It is what it is, and we like the rhythm of the work here.
