We are based over in Dharam Sing Colony. It’s a residential-feeling area but we’ve set up our business here because it’s convenient. The office is basically just a couple of rooms where we handle all the export and import details. It’s not a big fancy building, just a place where we can sit and get the work done. Usually, the day starts with checking messages and seeing what’s happening with the latest shipments. There are always a few glitches to fix, like a driver being late or a form having a typo. We have a few desks and some chairs for when visitors come by, which isn't too often. Mostly we are just talking to people over the phone or through the computer. The colony is usually quiet during the day, except for the occasional street vendor passing by. We have a small storage area in the back for some of the smaller items we deal with. It’s a simple setup and we like it that way because it keeps the costs down. We don't have a big marketing department or anything like that. It’s just us doing the daily tasks of moving goods around. We’ve been at this for a while and we know the routine pretty well by now. It’s just a normal day-to-day business for us, making sure the goods get where they should be.
