Design World

Design World is located at No : 661 on Ph Road. We are right in Aminjikarai, and if you know the Skywalk area, we are very close to that. It’s a busy part of the city, so there’s always something happening outside our door. We’ve been at this spot for a long time. The building isn’t new, but it’s where we do all our creative work. Inside, it’s mostly desks, computers, and a lot of paper. We aren't really into the whole corporate image thing. We just wear what’s comfortable and focus on the designs. Since we are near the Skywalk, we get a lot of foot traffic passing by. It can be a bit noisy with the traffic on Ph Road, but you get used to the sound of horns and buses after a week or two. Our team is small and we all know each other pretty well. We don't have fancy titles or big meetings. Usually, we just talk over a cup of tea about what needs to be finished by the end of the day. It’s a straightforward way of working. We like being in Aminjikarai because everything is nearby. If we need something, we just walk down the street. We just try to do honest work and keep the shop running smoothly. The front door sticks a bit in the humidity, but we just give it a good push and it opens fine.
