If you come down Central Avenue in Korattur, you will find us at H-26. It is a pretty easy place to find because the avenue is quite wide compared to the side streets. Deplone Fashion Dress Co. Limited is where we do all our cutting and stitching. It is an old building, but it serves its purpose for us. The ground floor gets a lot of dust from the road. We have a lot of workers coming in from the local area. Korattur is a nice enough place, though it gets very flooded when it rains heavily. We have had to move things to higher shelves more than once. The work here is steady. We do not have a lot of fancy office furniture. Just the tables for the fabrics and the machines. We drink a lot of coffee to stay sharp. The noise of the sewing machines is something you just get used to after a week. It becomes like background music. We handle a lot of different dresses throughout the year. Some are simple, others take more time. We try to stay on top of the schedule. Sometimes the fabric suppliers are late and that throws everything off. We just deal with it as it comes. Central Avenue is usually busy with people going to work. We see them passing by every morning while we are setting up. It is a long day, but we like being in Korattur. It feels like home to us.
