D. S. Engineers

D. S. Engineers is located at Plot No. 53/4 in Phase-4 of the G.I.D.C. in Vatva. We are quite close to the Ramol Char Rasta, which is always a bit of a mess with traffic, especially when the shifts change at the nearby factories. Our workshop is a practical space where we deal with engineering parts and repairs. It is not a place for shiny shoes; you are likely to get some grease on you if you walk around the back for too long. We have a small office at the front where we keep the files and take phone calls. The walls are lined with old calendars and some charts that have been there for years. We’ve got a small crew of workers who have been with us for a long time, so everyone knows their job. Talking isn't really necessary to get things moving. The machines are the older type, sturdy and reliable, and they make a lot of noise during the day. We usually have our lunch together in the small shade outside when the weather allows it. It is just a local engineering shop doing the daily grind. Big mission statements aren't our thing. We just show up, do the work that’s on the list, and head home when the sun goes down. It’s a simple life and we like it that way.
