Down on Oragadam Road in Venkatapuram, you’ll find our workshop at number 52. We’ve been operating out of Ambattur for a long time, and if you know this part of town, you know it’s full of small shops and factories like ours. We do a lot of engineering work, mostly involving metal parts and bits of machinery that need fixing or making from scratch. It’s a loud place most days. There’s always some machine running or someone grinding something down. We get a lot of grease on our hands, but that’s the reality of an engineering floor. We don't have a big reception area or anyone in a suit waiting to greet you. Usually, you just walk in and find someone near the lathe or the welding station. We handle various projects for other local businesses and sometimes people just walk in with a broken part from their house. It’s practical work. We spend a lot of time measuring things twice and cutting once, trying to make sure everything fits the way it’s supposed to. Some days are slower than others, which gives us time to clean up the scraps or organize the tool racks. It’s just us doing what we’ve always done here in Ambattur. We aren't trying to change the world; we’re just making sure the parts we build are solid and the machines keep running for our customers who rely on them.
