We are located at No. 9/5 on Patnool Sardar Jung Street in the Periamet area. If you’ve ever been to Periamet, you know it is the heart of the leather trade around here. Our business, Crr Leathers Pvt. Ltd., has been part of this street for a long time. The road out front is quite narrow and there are always trucks loading and unloading goods, which makes it a bit hectic during the day. We don't have a polished showroom or anything like that. Our building is more of a practical workspace where we handle all the leather and the paperwork that goes with it. The air always has that specific smell of tanned hides, which is just part of the atmosphere in this neighborhood. We have a small team and most of us have been working together for years, so we have a good rhythm going. We aren't interested in being some big fancy company with a lot of corporate talk. We just focus on the daily tasks and making sure things are done right. There is a tea stall just a few doors down where we all go for a break in the afternoon. It is a nice way to step away from the noise of the machines for a few minutes. The floors in our shop are made of old stone and they have seen a lot of wear over the decades. We like being here because it feels like we are part of the history of this street.
