Corner Textiles Private Limited has been around for quite a while in Chennai. We are located at New No. 4, which used to be Old No. 20, on Chakravarthy Nagar in Ayanavaram. It’s an old part of the city with a lot of character. Our building isn't much to look at from the outside, but it’s where we do everything. We handle textile orders for various people. The humidity in Chennai can be tough on the fabric, so we have to be careful about how we store things. We spend a lot of our time on the ground floor moving boxes around. It’s a tight space, and we've definitely outgrown it, but we stay because the location is convenient. We aren't a high-tech firm. Most of our records are still on paper in big ledgers. It works for us. The staff has been here for years, and we all know each other's families. It's a very traditional way of doing business. We don't have a website that does much, and we don't really do social media. We just talk to people on the phone or face-to-face. Sometimes we have a coffee together and talk about the news before starting the day. It’s a slow and steady pace. We just want to keep the business going as it has been for years. The street outside is always noisy with scooters and people shouting, but inside it's mostly just the sound of the ceiling fans. We don't really have a big plan for the future. We just want to keep things running smoothly and keep our customers happy. It's a simple way to live.
