Classic Leather Nandambakkam

If you’re heading down Mount Poonamallee High Road, you’ll find us at 5/12 in Nandambakkam Kudiyiruppu. We go by Classic Leather Nandambakkam. It’s a handy spot because the road is always busy, though the traffic can be a real headache in the evenings when everyone is heading home. We’ve been working out of this shop for years now. It’s not a huge place, maybe even a bit small, but it’s enough for what we do with leather. Most of our day is spent at the back where the work actually happens. We don't use any fancy software to track things; we mostly just write stuff down in a big ledger we keep on the main counter. It’s a bit old-fashioned, but it works for us and we haven't lost anything yet. The walls could probably use a fresh coat of paint, but we’re usually too busy with orders to worry about how the place looks to outsiders. We aren't interested in sounding like a big corporation. We’re just local people who know how to handle leather goods. Some customers have been coming to us since we first opened our doors here in Nandambakkam. We like the familiar faces. It’s a straightforward business where we try to be honest about what we can do and how long it will take. Nothing more to it than that. Just us, the leather, and the constant sound of cars outside on the high road.
