Our leather business is located right at No. 49/22 Pillayar Koil Street in the Nagalkeni area. It is a busy part of town where a lot of leather work happens, so we fit right in with the neighborhood. The building we work out of isn't anything fancy to look at, just a regular place where we get the job done every day. Inside, it is usually quite noisy because of the machines running and people moving heavy hides around the floor. There is always that distinct smell of leather in the air that you get used to after a while. We have been here for a long time now and have seen the street change quite a bit, but our daily routine stays pretty much the same. We spend most of our hours checking the quality of the skins or packing up boxes for export orders. It can get a bit crowded when a shipment is ready to go out, with crates stacked up near the entrance. We don't have a big team or a polished front office with a receptionist.
