Srigarments

You can find us over on Pillayar Koil Street in the Zamien Royapetai area of Chromepet. Our building at No. 3 A is not particularly large, but it serves our needs just fine for what we do. We have been running Srigarments for a few years now, focusing on making simple, everyday clothing for our regular clients. The street outside is usually quiet, except for when the school nearby lets out and the kids are all over the place. Inside the workshop, there is a steady hum from the sewing machines that we use all day long. It’s a small group of us working here, and we usually have the radio on or just talk about what’s happening in the neighborhood while we sew. We don't have a big marketing department or any glossy brochures to show off. Most of our work comes from people who just know us or have heard about us from other shop owners in the area. The space is often filled with rolls of cloth and various tools, and it can get a bit cramped when we have a lot of orders to finish. We just focus on making sure the seams are straight and the garments are put together properly. It’s a straightforward business without any bells and whistles. We just show up every morning, drink our tea, and get to work on the machines.
