If you walk down Maddox Street in Choolai, you’ll find us at number 38. Choolai has always been known for leather, and we’ve been part of that scene for a while. Our agency is mostly about connecting people with the right kinds of leather they need for their own shops or projects. The smell of tanned hides is something you get used to pretty quick when you work here. It’s a narrow street and parking is always a nightmare, but that’s just how Choolai is. Inside our place, it’s mostly just shelves and stacks of different skins. We don’t have a fancy showroom. If someone wants to see a specific grain or color, we just pull it out of the pile. It’s honest work. Sometimes the dust gets to you, and the lights are a bit dim in the back, but we know where everything is. We deal with all sorts of people, from big manufacturers to small hobbyists who just want a single piece of leather. We try to be fair with everyone. Most of our business comes from people who have known us for years. They just drop by, have a quick chat, and pick up what they need. It’s a local way of doing things that hasn’t changed much since we started. We are just here doing our thing and helping people get their supplies.
