Chitram Engineering Pvt. Ltd. is based at A9/16 in the Industrial Estate at JJ Nagar East, Mugappair. It is a busy corner of the estate where there is always something being moved or loaded. Our building isn't very new, but it is sturdy and holds all the heavy gear we need for our engineering jobs. Most of the people working here live nearby, so we feel like a part of the local community. The office is just a small corner partitioned off from the main work area, where we keep our records and answer the phone. You can hear the sounds of hammering and machines throughout the day, so it is not exactly a quiet place to chat. We deal with a lot of different clients who need custom parts or repairs. We do not use any fancy sales pitches; we just look at what needs to be done and tell you how long it will take. Sometimes parts are hard to find, so we have to get creative with how we fix things. The tea break is the highlight of the afternoon for most of us, and it is when we talk about everything except work. We have been at this location for quite some time now and most people in Mugappair know where to find us. We just keep doing what we are good at, which is honest engineering work without any unnecessary fluff or complications.
