You can find us at 17, Anna Salai, in the Thousand Lights area. This is one of the busiest parts of the city, and our office for Chettinad Cement Corporation Ltd is right in the middle of it. The traffic outside is always loud, and you can hear the horns honking from our desks. It’s a contrast to the quiet of some of our other locations. The office itself is functional and a bit old-fashioned. We have shelves filled with old files and desks that are a bit cramped. We spend most of our time on the phone or working on the computer, coordinating things between different sites. Thousand Lights is a great place to work because everything is close by, but the commute can be a bit of a nightmare during rush hour. We don't have any corporate branding on the walls or fancy decorations. It’s just a place where a group of people comes together to get the admin work done. Some of the windows are a bit drafty, and the carpet is showing its age, but it’s a comfortable enough place to spend the day. We focus on the logistics and the numbers, making sure everything is moving according to plan. It’s a lot of routine work, but it’s necessary to keep things running smoothly. We just take it one day at a time here.
