Anu Leathers

We are located on Spurtank Road in Chetpet, specifically at New No. 32 68. If you’ve ever been through this part of the city, you know the traffic can be quite something. Anu Leathers has been here for a good while, and the smell of leather is the first thing you notice when you walk in. It’s a deep, earthy scent that stays with you. We handle a lot of different leather goods, and our workspace is full of hides, cutting tools, and sewing machines. It’s not a sterile environment; there are scraps of leather on the floor and drawers full of buckles and threads. We’re a small group, and most of us have been working with leather for years. It’s a material that requires a bit of patience and a steady hand. We don't have a big storefront with glowing lights. It’s more of a practical setup where the work happens right there in back. Customers come in with specific ideas, and we spend time looking at the grain and the thickness of the material to see what fits. The Chetpet area is busy, and we’re often distracted by the sounds of the road, but we stay focused on the task at hand. It’s honest work, and we enjoy the feel of the tools in our hands. We just try to get the jobs done right without making a big fuss about it.
