Over in Valasaravakkam, specifically at No. 114 Velan Nagar, you’ll find our office for Cangeneral Trading Pvt. Ltd. It’s a residential-feeling street but there are several small businesses like ours mixed in. We’ve been operating from this location for a good while. The space is filled with files, samples, and a few computers that have seen better years. We deal with general trading, which means one day we’re looking at hardware and the next it might be something completely different. It keeps the job interesting, though it can be a lot to keep track of. The neighbors are mostly nice, and we try not to make too much noise when shipments arrive. Our team is small, mostly just local people who live nearby. We don't have a big corporate culture or anything like that. We just show up, do the work, and make sure the accounts are right. Sometimes we sit out on the steps during a break just to get some air. The office gets a bit stuffy in the afternoons, but we have a small AC unit that does its best. If you come by, you’ll see we are just a regular group of people trying to run a decent trading business. No fancy uniforms or scripted greetings here. We just handle the trades and move on to the next one. It’s a steady pace that suits us just fine and we like it that way.
