We are over on Clemens Road in Purasawalkam, not too far from the Saravana Store. If you know Chennai, you know how crowded this area gets, so we’re right in the middle of all that noise and energy. The building we’re in is number five, and it’s a pretty standard spot for a research and development setup. We spend our days working on different technical projects and trying to sort out various engineering problems that come our way. It’s not always glamorous work. A lot of it involves sitting at desks and staring at screens for hours or looking over long lists of data. We keep a small kitchen area for coffee breaks because the heat in Chennai can really wear you down. The street outside is usually packed with people shopping, so getting to the office in the morning can be a bit of a challenge with the traffic. We’ve been in this neighborhood for a bit now, so the local shopkeepers know us. We don’t have a big fancy lobby with a receptionist. Usually, you just walk in and find one of us working on something. It’s a functional space meant for getting things done rather than looking impressive. We just handle the technical side of things and try to stay on top of the schedule. Sometimes we stay late when a project is due, but mostly we stick to regular hours. It works for us. We just keep going.
