C. M. I. Leathers

We've been at #29 Venkatesa Naicken 2nd Street for a while now. Most folks just know us as C. M. I. Leathers. It's a busy little spot, always something happening on the street. We handle a lot of leather work here. It gets a bit crowded with all the hides and materials stacked up. Sometimes the smell of the tanning is quite strong, but you get used to it after a few minutes. We spend most of our days cutting and sorting through what comes in. It's not a fancy place by any means. There's an old fan that clicks when it's on high and the floor is always covered in small scraps. We try to keep things organized but when a big order comes in, the whole shop turns upside down. It’s just how we work. The street outside can be a nightmare for parking, so most people just walk over. We know the neighbors pretty well since we've all been here for years. We just keep our heads down and get the jobs done. If you're looking for the place, look for the big blue door, that’s usually where we are. It isn't much but it's where we do everything. Some days are longer than others depending on the leather quality we get that week. We don't have a big office or anything, just the workbench and some chairs for when we need a break. That's basically the whole story of us. It’s a lot of standing and manual labor, but we are used to it by now.
