You have to head to the first floor of C-Block in the Vaniga Valagam complex to find us. We are right opposite Naidu Hall, which is a big landmark that everyone knows. Being on the first floor means people have to walk up the stairs, but we get a decent number of folks coming in. It’s a typical shop filled with racks and racks of clothes. We don't have a designer interior or anything like that. It’s just shelves, some mirrors, and a small counter where we handle the cash. We spend our days folding clothes and helping people find their size. Sometimes it gets really crowded during the festival seasons, and other times it’s just us sitting and watching the people go by in the hallway. Vaniga Valagam is a busy place, so there is always some noise from the other shops. We’ve been at this spot for a good while now. Sathish Ready Mades is just a straightforward clothing shop. We don't try to be anything we aren't. If the light goes out, we use a torch until the generator kicks in. It’s just a normal day-to-day business. We keep the inventory moving and try to make sure the hangers are neat, though they usually end up a bit messy by the afternoon. It’s just how it goes when you’re running a small shop in a busy commercial building.
