You can find us at New No 66 on Swamy Naicken Street. It is an old part of Chennai, and the building has been around for a long time—it used to be Old No 142. Burgeon Impex Private Limited operates out of a fairly modest space here. It’s often quite noisy outside with the city life, but we don’t mind it much anymore. We handle imports and exports, which sounds a lot more complicated than it actually feels when you are doing it every day. Most of our work involves checking documents, talking to customs agents, and making sure goods are moving from one place to another. The office is usually filled with the sound of printers and people talking on their mobiles. We don't have a big reception area or fancy furniture. We just have what we need to get the job done. It is a small crew of us working here. Sometimes we have to deal with delays at the port or issues with shipping lines, and those days can be a bit stressful. But we just take it one step at a time. We’ve been in this neighborhood for a bit and we like being part of the local trade scene. It isn't a flashy life, but it’s what we know. We just focus on the containers and the paperwork and try to make sure everything lands where it is supposed to. It’s just us doing our part in the big world of trade.
