British International School Thiruvanmiyur

We are located over at No 2/268 on Sultan Ahmed Street. It's just off the East Coast Road here in Thiruvanmiyur. People know this area can get pretty crowded, especially during the morning rush, but we managed to set things up in a spot that works for the local families. The school has been part of the neighborhood for a while now. We keep the gates open early so parents can drop their kids off before they head to work. It’s a plain building, nothing too fancy, but it gets the job done for the students. Most of the staff live around here too, so we see each other at the shops. The breeze from the coast helps on the hotter days. We try to keep the classrooms tidy, though with kids running around, it's a bit of a struggle sometimes. There is a lot of noise from the main road occasionally, but we just get on with things. Usually, we are busy with paperwork or making sure the lunches are ready. It is a straightforward place where we focus on what needs to be taught. If you are driving down ECR, you will see our sign near the turn-off. We have seen a lot of kids grow up here and move on to bigger things, which is nice to see. Sometimes they stop by to say hello. It is just a regular school day for us most of the time.
