Bharath University

Bharath University is situated at No 173 on Agaram Road in Selaiyur. If you walk through the gates, you’ll see students hanging around the common areas between their classes. It’s a large campus and there is always something going on. We have different departments for various subjects, so the crowd is quite mixed. The administrative offices are usually busy with people trying to sort out their admissions or exam schedules. We spend a lot of time maintaining the classrooms and making sure the lights work. It’s an older institution, so some parts of the buildings have that worn-in feel. Agaram Road can get quite crowded during the morning when everyone is trying to get to school or work. We have a lot of faculty members who have been teaching here for decades. They know the shortcuts and the best places to grab a quick tea nearby. It’s not a flashy place, but it’s where the work of learning happens every day. The library is often quiet, though the hallways can get loud during the breaks. We have a grounds crew that tries to keep the trees trimmed and the paths clear. It’s just a regular place where students come to get their degrees and move on with their lives. We keep the gates open and the registers updated. It is a big operation with many moving parts. Everyone just does their job.
