Banadurai Higher Secondary School

Our school is located at 30, Banadurai South Street, right in the Anna Nagar area. It’s an older part of the neighborhood, and the school has been standing here for quite a long time. People around here know the building well. It’s a higher secondary school, so we deal with the older students who are getting ready for their big exams. The atmosphere is usually a bit serious because of that, but you still hear plenty of shouting during the breaks. The building itself shows its age in some places, but we do our best to keep it in good shape. We have the usual science labs and a library that has seen a lot of use over the years. The street outside can get pretty narrow and crowded when school lets out. Most of the teachers have been working here for a decade or more, so there is a lot of experience in the staff room. We don't have many fancy gadgets, just the basic tools for teaching. The courtyard is where everyone gathers in the mornings for the assembly. It’s a straightforward place with a lot of history in these walls. We focus on the lessons and making sure the students are prepared for whatever comes next. It’s a lot of routine, but that’s how a school like ours stays running year after year. We just keep the gates open and the bells ringing on time.
