Suryaa Leathers

Our setup is at No. 367-150 on Konnur High Road in Ayanavaram. It’s an office cum factory, so things can get a bit loud with the machinery running in the back while we try to answer the phone in the front. Konnur High Road is always busy with trucks and buses, so there’s a lot of dust and noise outside. We deal with leather, so the place always has that distinct smell of raw hides and tanning agents. It’s a tough business, but we’ve been at it for a while now. The space is divided up into sections for cutting, stitching, and packing. It’s not the cleanest looking place, but it’s a factory, so that’s expected. We have a group of workers who have been with us for years. They know the leather better than anyone. We don’t spend much on decorating the office part. We’d rather spend that on keeping the machines in good shape. People come here to discuss orders or check on their shipments. We usually have samples laying around on the tables for people to feel and see. It’s a practical environment. We don’t have a marketing team or anything like that. We just make the goods and send them out. Ayanavaram has been a good home for us, and being on the high road makes it easy for the delivery trucks to find us.
