Padua Exports & Imports

Our office is over at A. V. Koil Iind Street in Ayanavaram. The address can be a bit confusing because it's No. 10 but also has a new number, 21. We’ve been here long enough that most of the delivery drivers know which building we mean. Padua Exports & Imports is the name on the small board outside. We handle a bit of everything, bringing things in and sending things out. The street is usually full of activity, which makes it interesting to watch from the window when we take a break. We don't have a huge warehouse, so we have to move things quickly to keep the space clear. It’s a lot of coordinating with trucks and making sure the timing is right. If a container shows up early, we’re all scrambling to get ready. The work is mostly about managing the flow of goods and making sure the documentation is in order. We use old desks and mismatched chairs because they still work fine, and there’s no reason to change them. We’re just regular people trying to run a decent business in this neighborhood. We don’t use big words to describe what we do. It’s just trade, plain and simple. Some days are slow and we sit around talking about the news, and other days we don’t even have time to eat lunch. That’s the way it’s always been for us here.
