Indian Clothing Co.

Indian Clothing Co. is located at No. 150 N M Road in Avadi. It’s a straightforward shop on a busy stretch of road. We’ve been here for a while, and the locals know where to find us. The shop is pretty basic inside. We have wooden shelves lined with different types of clothes for men and women. It’s not the kind of place where you’ll find fancy carpets or air conditioning that’s too cold. We just have the essentials. Most of our day is spent helping people find the right size or showing them what new stock arrived on the truck. Avadi is a hardworking area, and we try to reflect that in how we run things. We don't use big words or try to sell people things they don't need. If a shirt doesn't fit right, we tell them. It’s just easier that way. Sometimes the traffic on N M Road makes it hard to park, but people still manage to make their way in. We are a small team, just a few relatives and a helper. We take turns managing the counter and checking the inventory in the back room. It’s a lot of standing and walking around, but we enjoy the pace. We just keep things moving and try to stay organized as much as possible in this small space. There is always a lot of unfolding and folding to do.
