You can find Ashok Kumar Apparels on the 3rd floor of Parsn Manere. We are in the C-Wing, at 602 Anna Salai. Being in a big building like Parsn Manere means there are always people moving around the hallways. It’s a busy place right in the middle of Anna Salai. We have been here for years. Our office isn't very large. It’s mostly taken up by samples and desks where we do the paperwork. We don't have a showroom. It’s just where the business happens. Sometimes the elevators are slow, so we end up taking the stairs. We deal with clothes and orders all day long. It’s not always easy but we stay at it. We don't use any big words to describe what we do. We just make sure the orders are processed and the suppliers are talked to. The view from the third floor is just the buildings across the street. We’ve grown used to the noise of the traffic on Anna Salai. It never really stops. Inside, we just try to keep things organized. It gets a bit messy when a new shipment comes in. Boxes everywhere. We just clear a path and keep working. We are just a small team of people trying to keep things moving. There’s no big secret to how we work. We show up, we do the job, and we deal with whatever problems come up that day. It is just a normal office in a big city building and we like being here.
