Ashok Enterprises

I spend most of my time at 25, Mettu Street in Kunrathur where Ashok Enterprises is located. It is a simple street, not too wide, so when the delivery vans come it can get a bit tight for space. We’ve been operating from this building for quite some time now. There isn't any big sign with flashing lights, just our name and the door where people walk in. Most of the day is spent checking over orders or talking to people on the phone about what they need. Kunrathur has changed a lot over the years, but this little corner of Mettu Street stays about the same. It’s mostly quiet except for the usual neighborhood noises and the sound of boxes being moved around. I keep the place organized as much as I can, though stuff tends to pile up when we get a big shipment in. We aren't a huge corporation, just a small business trying to get things right for the people who buy from us. Some days are slow and I just sit by the door watching the street, while other days I barely have time to eat lunch. It’s honest work and it keeps me busy from morning till night. Most of our customers are locals who have been coming to us for years, so we know them by name. It’s just the way we do things here.
