Fashion Access

Fashion Access is located right on P. H. Road in Arumbakkam. If you know that part of town, you know it stays busy from morning until late at night. Our shop isn't anything special to look at from the outside. We just have our sign and a regular door. Inside, we keep a lot of different items packed onto shelves. It gets a bit cramped when we get a new shipment in. Sometimes I think we need more room, but then we manage to fit everything anyway. I spend most of my day behind the counter or moving boxes around. The noise from P. H. Road is constant, so you get used to the sound of horns and buses. It’s just a regular local business. We don't have a big staff, just a few of us who have worked together for a long time. We know the regular faces who pass by every day. Some people stop in just to say hello while they’re waiting for the bus. We try to keep things simple. There isn't any fancy lighting or carpets. We just have the goods and we sell them. The back room is where we keep the older stock and the packing materials. It’s dusty back there, no matter how much we sweep. That is just how it is when you’re right on a main road like this. We just keep our heads down and keep the shop running.
