Chen China Impex

We've been over here at Sri Sakthi Nagar in Arumbakkam for a good while now. It’s just a small setup, nothing fancy, where we handle imports and stuff coming in from China. Most days it is just us sorting out papers and making sure boxes get where they need to go. If you know this part of Chennai, you know it gets busy, but we managed to find this spot in Sri Sakthi Nagar and it works for us. People sometimes ask what exactly we do, and mostly it is just getting goods moved from one place to another without too much fuss. We don’t have a big fancy office with glass walls or anything like that. It is just a desk, some phones, and a lot of lists. Dealing with logistics and trade is mostly about keeping track of things and talking to people on the phone all day. Sometimes the weather makes things slow down, especially when it rains hard around here, but we keep at it. We aren't trying to be the biggest company in the world. We just want to get through the work day and make sure the deliveries are handled right. It's a lot of back and forth, checking containers, and making sure the numbers match up at the end of the day. It isn't glamorous work by any means, but someone has to do it. We have stayed in Arumbakkam because it's convenient and we know the area well. It's just home for us.
