Arul Exports & Imports

We are Arul Exports & Imports and our shop is T/b- 92 right in the Anna Fruit Market. If you’ve ever been to the market, you know it is always loud and crowded with people and trucks. We get here very early in the morning when most people are still sleeping. The air always smells like different fruits depending on the season. Our job is to move produce and other goods in and out of the market. It is fast work and you have to be quick on your feet. There isn't much space in the stall for sitting around. We are usually busy unloading crates or writing down sales in our ledgers. It is a bit chaotic but there is a rhythm to it that we like. You meet all kinds of people working in a market like this. We don't wear suits or anything like that. We wear clothes that we don't mind getting a bit dirty. Sometimes it rains and the ground gets muddy but the work doesn't stop. We have to make sure the fruit stays fresh and gets to where it is going. It is a tough way to make a living but it is what we know. The Anna Fruit Market is like its own little world and we are just one part of it at stall 92. It is hard work but we are used to the noise and the pace.
