Arm Leathers

We’ve been over here at Sigamani Street for a while now. Arm Leathers is just us working out of this spot in Nagalkeni. It's Chromepet, so it gets busy, but we stay focused on what's in front of us. Most days you'll find someone at the shop at No. 2/27. Sivasankaran Nagar is where we set things up. It isn't a huge place, just a regular leather business. We handle the daily stuff. It's dusty sometimes around here. We just do the work. If you come by the street, you'll see the sign. It's nothing fancy, just a door and some leather inside. We've lived in this area for a long time. People know us by the name Arm Leathers. We keep the machines running. Sometimes the power goes out, but we get back to it. It’s a lot of manual labor. My cousin helps out when it gets busy. We don’t really do ads or anything like that. Word of mouth mostly gets people to our door in Nagalkeni. Chromepet is a good area for this kind of work. We have some scraps lying around. It’s just how it is. We try to stay organized but things get messy when we are in the middle of a big order. That's our life here on Sigamani Street. We usually have a bit of music playing while we work to keep our spirits up.
