You can find us at Arkay Leathers Pvt. Ltd. on the third floor of Crown Court. That is at 128 Cathedral Road in Chennai. It’s a very busy street with a lot of trees and big buildings. Our office is a bit removed from the noise because we are up on the third floor. We’ve got some old wooden cabinets full of leather samples and files going back years. Most days we are just sitting at the desks talking to suppliers or looking at shipping schedules. The leather business in Chennai has been around a long time, and we are just one part of it. It’s not like a shop where you walk in and buy a jacket; it’s more about the bulk side of things. We have a small kitchen area where we make coffee, and that’s where most of the talking happens. The view from the window is just other office buildings and the tops of the trees on Cathedral Road. We don't have a big fancy sign in the lobby, just the name on the door. It feels like a regular office where people come to work and then go home to their families. We try to keep things organized, but with so many samples laying around, it gets a bit cluttered. We just do our best to stay on top of the pile.
