Arasan Engg. Enterprises

Our office is on the first floor at 239/129 Avvai Shanmugam Salai, right there on Lloyds Road in Gopalapuram. It’s a busy part of the city, so there is always a lot of traffic and people moving about downstairs. Since we are Arasan Engg. Enterprises, our space is usually filled with drawings, blueprints, and various technical documents. It’s not a very quiet place because we are often discussing projects or talking on the phone with clients and suppliers. The rooms are a bit cramped because we have so many files and pieces of equipment stored in every available corner. We don't have a fancy lobby; you just come up the stairs and you’re right in the middle of our workspace. Sometimes the air conditioner struggles a bit in the peak of summer, but we make do. We’ve been operating out of this Gopalapuram location for quite a while now. The staff here has stayed mostly the same over the years, so we all know how to work around each other. It’s a very hands-on environment where everyone gets involved in whatever needs doing at the moment. We usually eat our lunch together at the big table in the back. It’s a real, working engineering office with all the mess and noise that comes with it. We like being in this part of town because everything is accessible and close by.
