We are right behind Ega Theatre on Landons Road. You can always hear the crowd when a big movie lets out. Our shop at number 25 is where we do all our work. It’s a lot of art and framing and things like that. The walls are covered in different frames we’ve made over the years. Some of them are a bit dusty because we haven't sold them yet. We have a big table in the middle where we cut the glass and the wood. You have to be careful where you step because there are often small bits of wood on the floor. It’s a creative mess. We don't have a big staff, just a few of us who know how to handle the tools. Kilpauk is a busy area, but our little corner stays pretty focused. People bring in photos or paintings and we talk about what would look good. We don't have a glossy catalog. We just show them what we have on the walls. Sometimes we run out of a certain color of paint or wood and have to wait for the delivery truck to arrive. It’s not a perfect system but it works for us. We drink a lot of coffee while we work and listen to the radio. It’s a nice place to spend the day even if it gets a bit crowded with all the supplies. We just like making things look nice for people who come to see us.
