Over in Nanganallur, we are on Pongi Mutt Street at Plot 6/20. This is a very traditional part of town. You can hear the temple bells sometimes if the wind is right. The street is narrow, so if two cars come at once, one of them usually has to back up. Our building is a simple structure. It isn't new, but we keep it functional. There is a small garden area at the front, though it's mostly just some hardy plants and a lot of dust. People come here for various reasons throughout the day. We have a counter where they can talk to us. The fans hum constantly because it gets so humid. The staff knows everyone around. We see the same postman every afternoon. Inside, it's a bit cluttered with documents and old files that we haven't found a place for yet. We use 600061 for our mail. The lighting isn't the best in the hallways, but we are used to it. Sometimes the neighbors come by just to say hello. It feels more like a community spot than a big institution branch. We do our work, drink our tea, and go home when the sun sets. It is a steady routine that hasn't changed much in a long time. It suits us and the people who visit us here in Tamil Nadu. We don't need things to be fancy to get the work done right.
