We are located in Madipakkam, specifically at 1st Cross Street. The address is a bit confusing because there’s an old number and a new one, 194/2 and 2/474 respectively. Most people just use the new one now to avoid any mix-ups with the mail. It is a residential kind of area, so it stays relatively calm compared to the main roads of Chennai. The building is tucked away a bit. You have to look for the sign near the gate. Inside, the space is divided into different sections. We have some old wooden furniture that has been around for years and it still holds up. It smells a bit like old paper and ink in some of the back rooms. We spend our days answering questions and filing things away. The windows look out onto the street where you can see kids going to school or neighbors chatting. The 600091 area has changed a lot since we first started here. More houses have come up and the roads are paved better now. We don't have a big fancy lobby. Just a small entrance where people wait if we are busy. The staff usually brings lunch from home and we eat together in the small pantry. It is a very normal way to spend the work week in this part of Chennai. We keep things moving and try to stay organized as much as we possibly can every single day.
