Being over here on Thiruvalluvar Salai in Ramapurum means dealing with a lot of traffic most days. Our spot at Balaji Avenue isn't hard to find once you get into the lane. It's a busy part of Chennai-89 and you can hear the city noise all day long. We've been here for a while now. The building is just a normal place where people come to get their work done or check on things. Sometimes the electricity goes out when it rains heavy. It happens. People usually stop by the gate to ask for directions since the street names get a bit confusing around here. The office inside is functional. We have desks and chairs and files piled up. It gets quite warm in the afternoons so we keep the fans going. It’s not fancy or anything. Just a regular place doing regular stuff in this corner of the city. Most of us take the bus or ride our scooters to get here. Parking is a bit of a squeeze sometimes if you come late. You see the same faces every day, from the tea seller outside to the people living in the nearby houses. It's just a part of the neighborhood life here. We try to keep the place tidy but with so many people coming in and out, it's a bit of a challenge. That's just how it goes at our Ramapurum branch. We just keep at it and do what needs doing.
