Anna University

This branch is located at House No: 1/24 on the Main Road in Rajaji Nagar. We are right opposite the RTO office, which makes it very easy for people to find us in Thiruvanmyur. Chennai is always humid, so we keep the doors open as much as we can. It’s a busy area and there’s always the sound of horns and traffic from the street. Our office is inside an older house structure, so it feels a bit more cramped than a regular office building. We have desks squeezed into rooms that used to be bedrooms probably. It gives the place a bit of a strange layout, but we make it work. We get a lot of foot traffic because of the RTO office across the way. People often wander in thinking we are part of that office, so we have to tell them we are Anna University. We handle student registrations and various bits of paperwork here. The walls could use a fresh coat of paint, but it’s not a priority right now. We have a small porch where we sometimes take breaks. It’s a very local feel. Most of us have worked here for years and we know the tea stall guy down the road very well. It’s just a normal, everyday kind of office with no frills. We just keep our heads down and get through the tasks.
