G K Apparels is based right here in Ayanavaram. We've been part of this community for years, just doing our thing with clothes and fabrics. Ayanavaram is a lively place to work. You hear the sounds of the neighborhood all day long while we’re inside the workshop. We aren't a big corporation. We’re more like a small family business where everyone does a bit of everything. One day you’re packing boxes, and the next you’re checking the stitching on a new batch. It's not always easy, especially when the deadlines are tight, but we manage to get through it. We don't have a fancy website or a big sales team. Most people find us because they know someone who knows us. That’s how things work around here. We just try to do a decent job so people don’t complain. The floor is usually covered in thread and scraps, but that’s a sign of a busy day. We’ve seen the neighborhood change a lot over the years, but G K Apparels has stayed pretty much the same. We just want to keep working and providing for our families. It’s a simple life and we like it that way. No big speeches or goals, just making sure the next order is ready to go. That's the way we operate. If the machines are running and the coffee is hot, we are doing alright.
