We are located over at Plot 1988, H-28 on 12th Main Road in Annanagar. If you know the area, you know it can get pretty crowded with traffic during the rush hours. Our building is right there among the others. Inside, it’s mostly the sound of the machines and people talking over the noise. We have been working out of this space for quite some time now. It’s not a very big place, so we have to use every inch of the floor for the fabric and the cutting tables. There’s always piles of scrap cloth in the corners that we need to clear out. We started with just a couple of people and now there are more of us, but it still feels like the same small shop. The walls could probably use a fresh coat of paint, but we’re usually too busy to worry about that. We spend our time getting the clothes made and making sure the stitching is right. It’s a lot of repetitive work, but we take it one day at a time. The tea man comes by twice a day, and that’s usually when we take a breather. It’s a decent place to work. We’ve got a good group of people here who just want to do their jobs and go home to their families. Nothing fancy, just us and our machines on 12th Main. We just try to keep things moving as smoothly as we can.
