We are located at Ac-139 in Shanthi Colony, right in the Anna Nagar area. South India Garment & Export is a place where we spend our days focused on clothing and getting everything ready for shipping. Shanthi Colony is a nice spot, a bit more relaxed than the noisy main roads, but we stay busy enough inside the office and warehouse. The address Ac-139 has become a second home for most of us over the years. We have heaps of fabric and finished garments everywhere you look. It is not always the most organized-looking place, but we know exactly where everything is kept. Running an export business from Anna Nagar means we are always checking schedules and making sure the boxes are packed correctly. It is a lot of physical work, lifting heavy crates and checking tags. We do not have a big corporate team; it is just a handful of us making sure things go out on time. Sometimes the power goes out or the delivery truck is late, and we just have to deal with it as it happens. That is just the nature of the garment business here. We like being in Shanthi Colony because it feels like a real neighborhood even though we are doing business with people far away. Every day is a bit different, but the goal at Ac-139 is always the same, just getting the work done and keeping the garments moving.
