Anna Medical College

Anna Medical College is found at Old No 24/A, New No 49, Shastri Nagar 2nd Avenue, right on M G Road in Chennai. Our pin code is 600020. This building has been part of the Shastri Nagar landscape for a long time. Being on M G Road means it is quite easy for students to get here using the bus or the train. It is a medical college, so the atmosphere is usually a bit more serious than a regular school. You see students in their white coats walking around the hallways with big textbooks. The building itself is a bit of a mix of the old structure and some newer parts we added later. It is not a shiny, glass-covered corporate building. It looks like a place where people actually work and study hard. We have labs and some lecture halls that stay pretty busy throughout the day. The traffic on 2nd Avenue can get really loud, but once you are inside, it is mostly just the sound of people talking or teachers giving their talks. We do not do a lot of advertising because the college name is already well-known in this part of Tamil Nadu. We just focus on keeping the classes running and making sure the equipment in the labs is working okay. It is a busy, functional place that serves its purpose for the students who come here from all over the city.
