Aliff Apparels

You can find Aliff Apparels at No. 49 Thiruveethi Amman Koil Street. We are right there in Aminjikarai, not too far from the temple. The street is usually busy with people going about their daily business or visiting the shrine. Our building is a simple one, and we use most of the space for our clothes and sewing machines. It’s often quite noisy inside with the sound of the machines running and people talking over each other. We don't have a big fancy storefront with mannequins in the window. It’s more of a workshop where the real work happens. We focus on getting the garments finished and ready for whoever is buying them. Sometimes the fabric rolls take up all the floor space, and you have to step carefully. We’ve been in this neighborhood for quite a while now. The neighbors know us, and we know them. It’s a very grounded way to work. We don't use any high-tech systems for everything. A lot of it is still done by hand or with simple tools that have served us well. The heat can get a bit much in the summer, but we keep the fans going and just get on with it. It’s a practical business run by people who know how to handle fabric. We don't make big promises, we just finish the orders and move on to the next one.
