Yap India Exports & Imports

We are located on the second floor of Aiema Towers in the Ambattur Industrial Estate. Being on the 1st Main Road means there’s always a lot of activity and noise around us. You can hear the machines from the nearby factories throughout the day. Our office, No. 201, is where we handle all the Yap India paperwork and calls. It’s an industrial area, so it’s not very pretty to look at, but it’s practical for an export-import business like ours. We have a lot of space for our desks and a small area for meetings that we don't use much. The hallway in the tower is always busy with people from other companies moving back and forth. We’ve been here since the building was newer. The lift works most of the time, which is good because carrying boxes up two floors is no fun. We spend our hours coordinating with vendors and checking the shipping manifests carefully. There’s a canteen downstairs where we get our morning tea and sometimes lunch. The parking lot is always full by nine in the morning, so we have to get here early to find a spot. It’s a hardworking environment. Most people here are just trying to get their shipments out on time. We fit right in with that. It’s a solid place to work and we’ve gotten used to the constant hum of the estate. It is just the way things are in Ambattur.
